Our guiding principles

Love God

Jesus Christ taught us, "You shall love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind."  (Matthew 22:37)

Love Others

Jesus Christ taught us, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."  (Matthew 22:39)

Make Disciples for Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ taught us, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)

Our core beliefs

The Bible is God's Word

The Old and New Testament are God's inspired and true words to humanity.  The New Testament is an all sufficient basis for faith and practice.

God is Trinity

God is one with a tri-personal nature.  This nature consists of God the Father, God the Son,and God the Holy Spirit.

Humanity is sinful

Apart from God, humanity and each human is sinful.

Jesus forgives and reconciles

Jesus Christ took everyone's sins upon Himself by dying on a cross over 2000 years ago.  He rose from the dead to be peoples' mediator with God.  Anyone can receive God's forgiveness and reconciliation by placing faith in Jesus.

The Holy Spirit helps people live for God

When God forgives people of sins, He gives them the Holy Spirit to empower them to follow the words and ways of Jesus Christ.

Baptism by immersion

Followers of Jesus should walk in loving obedience to Him by being immersed in water shortly after they place faith in Him.

The Lord's Supper

When followers of Jesus gather together, they should often eat bread and drink grape juice to symbolically remember the death of jesus.

Jesus will soon return

After he rose from the dead, Jesus ascended to heaven.  He will soon return to judge all humanity.  Those who place faith in Him will go to Heaven.  Those who reject Him will go to Hell.
